1. On 11/10/2025 at 5:06 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 30-year-old male, Deshawn Pearson of Jamaica, NY for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $6,500.00 with a 10% option and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Hillside, NJ in the amount of $2,500.00. Both the Newark Police Department and the Hillside Police Department did release Mr. Pearson on his own recognizance pending future court dates. Mr. Pearson was subsequently released from police custody.

2. On 11/10/2025 at 11:37 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 26-year-old male, Elmer Vasquez-Garcia of Union City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Guttenberg, NJ in the amount of $550.00. Mr. Vasquez-Garcia was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

3. On 11/11/2025 at 9:44 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 26-year-old male, Mohammed Ahmed of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Allenhurst, NJ in the amount of $550.00 with a 10% option along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Elmwood Park, NJ in the amount of $500.00. Mr. Ahmed was able to post bail for the outstanding warrant issued out of Allenhurst, NJ. The Elmwood Park Police Department released Mr. Ahmed on his own recognizance pending a future court date. Mr. Ahmed was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and was released from police custody.

4. On 11/12/2025 at 10:12 AM, Officer’s from the NJ State Police responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters to transfer custody of a 45-year-old male, Joel Sabino of Reading, PA for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $6,000.00 with a 10% option. Mr. Sabino was also found to have 2 outstanding warrants issued out of West New York in the amount of $500.00 and $350.00. Mr. Sabino was able to post bail for the outstanding warrants and was released from police custody.

5. On 11/12/2025 at 8:50 PM, Officer’s from the West New York Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters to transfer custody of a 22-year-old male, Marcos Soris of North Bergen, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $3,000.00 with a 10% option. Mr. Soris was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody.

6. On 11/13/2025 at 7:36 AM, Secaucus Police responded to Secaucus University Hospital located at 55 Meadowlands Parkway on a report of an individual refusing to leave. During the investigation, the police arrested a 27-year-old male, Andrew Ficklin of Charles City, IA for Defiant Trespassing [2C:18-3B]. Mr. Ficklin was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

7. On 11/13/2025 at 9:20 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the Candlewood Suites located at 279 Secaucus Road on a report of CDS found inside a hotel room by hotel personnel. During the investigation, on the same date at 5:27 PM, the police responded to UPS located at 493 County Avenue and arrested a 35-year-old male, Victor Pasquariello of Nutley, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Cocaine [2C:35-10A(1)]. Mr. Pasquariello was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

8. On 11/13/2025 at 11:37 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 40-year-old male, Moises Jimenez of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Springfield, NJ in the amount of $850.00 with a 10% option. Mr. Jimenez was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody.

9. On 11/14/2025 at 1:44 PM, Officer’s from the NJ State Police responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters to transfer custody of a 51-year-old female, Melissa Prominta of North Bergen, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $5,000.00 with a 10% option along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of North Bergen, NJ in the amount of $500.00 with a 10% option. Ms. Prominta was able to post bail for the involved warrants and was released from police custody.

10. On 11/14/2025 at 4:05 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Meadowlands Plaza Hotel located at 40 Wood Avenue on a report of a male making threatening statements towards hotel staff. During the investigation, the police responded to the Franklin located at 780 5th Street and arrested a 61-year-old male, John Yengo of Jersey City, NJ for Terroristic Threats [2C:12-3B], Unlawful Possession of a Weapon [2C:39-5D] for possessing a knife and Certain Persons Prohibited from having Weapons [2C:39-7A]. Mr. Yengo was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

11. On 11/15/2025 at 7:13 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 29-year-old male, Jahron Wynter of New York, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)] and Unlawful Use of Credit Cards [2C:21-6C(1)]. Mr. Wynter was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
