On Monday July 28, at approximately 6:00 PM, Wyckoff Police were dispatched to a
residence on a reported drowning in a backyard pool. The first officer on scene removed
the unconscious person from the pool and, with the assistance of other officers,
immediately began resuscitative efforts. The officers were assisted by the Wyckoff Fire
Department and Wyckoff Ambulance Corps. The 78-year-old male resident of Wyckoff
was transported to a local hospital by ambulance, accompanied by Valley Hospital
Paramedics.
