Theft
11/24/2025-Rasan Hall age 30 of Newark NJ. Officers responded to 122 Bloomfield Avenue (7-Eleven) on report of a Shoplifting. According to a store employee, a male took a grocery item from the shelf and left the store without paying. The item was valued at $5.97. Officers were able to locate the suspect nearby and placed him under arrest. The suspect was transported to Bloomfield Police Headquarters to be processed accordingly.

11/24/2025-Officers responded to 135 Bloomfield Avenue (Staples Parking Lot) on report of a Theft. A resident chained his e-bike to the fence while he went to a nearby barber shop and when he returned, he noticed it was missing. The e-bike was valued at $300.00. This incident is under investigation.

11/24/2025-Officers responded to the area of Grove Street and Chester Avenue on report of a Theft. A resident chained his e-bike to the street sign and when he returned, he noticed it was missing. The e-bike was valued at $1,500.00. This incident is under investigation.

11/25/2025-Officers responded to the area of North 13th Street on report of a Package Theft. According to a resident, surveillance footage shows a male taking two packages from the front porch. The packages were valued at $70.00. This incident is under investigation.

11/27/2025-Norven Alcius age 23 of Union NJ. Officers responded to 250 Glenwood Avenue (CVS) on report of a Shoplifting. According to a store employee, a male concealed cold and flu medicine and left the store without paying. The items were valued at $197.65. Officers were able to locate the suspect nearby and placed him under arrest. The suspect was transported to Bloomfield Police Headquarters to be processed accordingly.

11/27/2025-Officers responded to 122 Bloomfield Avenue (7-Eleven) on report of a Shoplifting. According to a store employee, a male concealed five cans of cat food in his jacket and left the store without paying. The items were valued at $11.45. This incident is under investigation.

11/28/2025-Officers responded to 8-12 Franklin Street (Marshalls) on report of a Shoplifting. According to the Loss Prevention Officer, a male concealed three pairs of shoes in a back pack and left the store without paying. The items were valued at $159.97. This incident is under investigation.

11/28/2025-Officers responded to the area of Darling Avenue on report of a Theft from Auto. A resident provided surveillance footage of three males entering his unlocked pick-up and take his wallet, $120.00 and a business check for $4531.00. This incident is under investigation.

11/28/2025-Officers responded to the 200 block of Grove Street on report of a Theft from Auto. A resident parked her vehicle in front of the building at 5:30p.m. and when she returned at 8:30p.m., she noticed it was rummaged through. A coat, clothing and perfume were missing from the vehicle. This incident is under investigation.

11/30/2025-Officers responded to the area of Alfred Lane on report of a Package Theft. A resident noticed two packages were delivered for him as he was leaving for an appointment. When he returned, the two packages were missing. The packages contained a water system valued at $50.00. This incident is under investigation.

11/30/2025-Officers responded to the area of Franklin Street on report of a Package Theft. A resident received an email confirmation that two packages were delivered to his front porch, however, when he went to retrieve them he noticed they were missing. The packages contained baby items valued at $40.00. This incident is under investigation.

Motor Vehicle Theft
11/25/2025-Officers responded to the area of Evans Road on report of a Motor Vehicle Theft. A resident parked his vehicle in front of his residence overnight and when he returned the following morning, it was missing. The vehicle, a red 2018 Infiniti Q60, was entered as stolen. This incident is under investigation.

11/25/2025-Officers responded to the area of Waldo Avenue on report of a Motor Vehicle Theft. A resident left his vehicle unlocked and running in front of his residence as he switched parking spaces. A male in a ski mask then exited a white Honda Accord and fled the scene with his vehicle. The vehicle, a black 2022 BMW X3M, was entered as stolen. This incident is under investigation.

11/26/2025-Officers responded to the area of Myrtle Street on report of a Motor Vehicle Theft. A resident parked his vehicle near the residence overnight and when he returned the following morning, it was missing. The vehicle, a white 2012 Ford Econoline, was entered as stolen. This incident is under investigation.

Burglary
11/29/2025-Officers responded to the area of Evergreen Street on report of a Burglary. According to a resident, three males attempted to gain entry into his residence through a basement window by opening a screen but were unsuccessful in opening the window. The males fled in a vehicle. This incident is under investigation.


These incidents are currently being investigated by Bloomfield Detectives. Due to the on-going investigations, information will not be released at this time. The information is released to the press at the discretion of the police department and may not represent the total scope of police activity. All persons are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
