1. On Nov. 6, 2025, at approximately 6:05 a.m., Police Officers Ronald Kibitlewski and
Domenick Allegretta responded to the Aberdeen Township Police Department to take custody of
37-year-old Alicia Hurtado of Hoboken, who was arrested by Aberdeen Police on a warrant out
of Hoboken for harassment. Hurtado was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters where
Police Officers Ryan Capogna and Michael Miranda processed Hurtado on the warrant and
transported her to the Hudson County Correctional Center.
2. On Nov. 6, 2025, at approximately 11:40 a.m., Police Officers Thomas Graziano and William
Vera were conducting a sweep of a Hoboken Housing Authority (HHA) building on the 300
block of Marshall Drive, when they located a man, later identified as 43-year-old Philip Steed of
Hoboken, sitting in the fifth-floor stairwell. Sgt. Harold Milne and Police Officers Adrian
Comayagua, Daniel Barral, and Shawn Sodora arrived on the scene to assist. It was determined
Steed did not live in the building, and he was arrested for defiant trespassing. He was transported
to Hoboken Police Headquarters, processed, and released on a summons.
3. On Nov. 7, 2025, at approximately 4:30 a.m., Police Officers Donovan Ortiz and Jaydan
Gonzalez observed a vehicle driving on Harrison Street near Second Street, with no lights on.
They pulled the car over and the driver was identified as 32-year-old Victor Jones of Newark.
4. On Nov. 8, 2025, at approximately 2:30 a.m., Police Officers Domenick Allegreta and Anish
Bhisey, were on patrol in the area of Fifth and Adams Streets when they observed a vehicle
traveling at an extremely high rate of speed through the intersection. They located the vehicle a
few blocks away and conducted a motor vehicle stop on the corner of Seventh and Clinton
Streets. Sgt. Daniel Grossi and Police Officer Daniella Simone arrived on the scene to assist. The
driver was identified as 29-year-old Christopher Fox of Albertson, NY, and his eyes were
observed to be bloodshot and watery. A standardized field sobriety test was conducted, after
which Fox was arrested for driving while intoxicated. An empty vodka shooter was located in the
car. He was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters and issued summonses for driving
while intoxicated, reckless driving, and having an open container inside a motor vehicle. After
being processed, as per John’s Law, Fox was released into the custody of a responsible adult.
5. On Nov. 8, 2025, at approximately 7:30 p.m., Police Officers Mark Mooreman and Marc
Lombardi responded to Dunkin’ Donuts, 40 Hudson Pl., on reports of a disorderly individual
refusing to leave. They located the individual, later identified as 45-year-old Ebony King of
Hoboken, in the shop, and it was discovered she had a warrant out of Hoboken for harassment.
She was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters, processed, and taken to the Hudson
County Correctional Facility.
6. On Nov. 9, 2025, at approximately 1 a.m., Sgt. Michael Straten and Police Officers Andrias
Bonilla and Marvin DeJesus responded to the area of Third and Clinton Streets on reports of a
multi-vehicle car crash, with injuries reported. An on-scene investigation revealed one of the
drivers, identified as 18-year-old John Rapp of Stanhope, had driven at a high rate of speed and
with a suspended driver's license. He was issued summonses for assault by auto, driving after
suspension, and reckless driving, and released from custody at the scene.
7. On Nov. 9, 2025, at approximately 8:35 p.m., Police Officer Kyle Seper was on patrol on First
Street near Harrison Street, he observed a vehicle fail to fully stop at a stop sign. An automatic
license plate reader determined that the registration was suspended. The vehicle went through
another stop sign at First and Jefferson Streets and was pulled over. Police Officers Zachary
Guido and Keven De La Cruz arrived on the scene to assist. The driver, identified as Mario
Moreno, was issued a summons for failure to stop. It was discovered he had a warrant out of
Newark. He was issued a new court date and released from custody at the scene.
8. On Nov. 11, 2025, at approximately 12:10 a.m., Police Officers Ronald Kibitlewski and
Brandon Cappelluti observed a man they could recognize as 45-year-old Damont Dyer of
Hoboken at Dunkin’ Donuts, 400 Newark St., and knew he had an open warrant. A warrant out
of Hoboken for possession of drug paraphernalia, and another out of Hudson County were
confirmed, and Dyer was arrested and transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters where he was
processed. He was ultimately transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
9. On Nov. 11, 2025, at approximately 2:30 a.m., Police Officer Brian Kim was on patrol near
the intersection of Observer Highway and Garden Street, when he observed a vehicle make a
right turn, without coming to a complete stop at a stop sign. He put on his lights and sirens, but
the vehicle continued to head westbound. It stopped on the 300 block of Observer Highway.
Police Officers Nicholas Losurdo and Marvin DeJesus arrived on the scene to assist. The driver
was identified as 57-year-old Dennis Grupe of Jersey City. Officers could smell alcoholic
beverage emanating from his breath and observed his speech to be delayed. Police Officers
Daniella Simone and Zachary Guido arrived on the scene to conduct a field sobriety test, after
which, Grupe was arrested for driving while intoxicated. Grupe was transported to Hoboken
Police Headquarters and issued summonses for driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, and
failure to stop at a stop sign. After being processed, as per John’s Law, he remained in custody
for 12 hours prior to release.
10. On Nov. 11, 2025, at approximately 8:30 a.m., Police Officers Alexander Miller and Jennifer
Lee, responded to ACME, 614 Clinton St., on reports of a shoplifting. An on-scene investigation
determined a man hid a laundry product in his jacket and walked out of the store without paying.
Officers identified the actor as 46-year-old Larone Ferguson of Hoboken. At approximately 5:15
p.m., Police Officers Valentino Salgado and Rose Kanan observed Ferguson on the 300 block of
Harrison Street and knew he was wanted in the earlier incident. They placed him under arrest
and transported him to Hoboken Police Headquarters. He was wanted on eight other warrants out
of Hoboken for multiple charges, including shoplifting, theft, disorderly conduct, obstruction,
and receiving stolen property. After processing, Ferguson was transported to the Hudson County
Correctional Facility.
11. On Nov. 12, 2025, at approximately 9:25 a.m., Police Officers Teddy Santiago and Marco
Grossman responded to Hoboken Police Headquarters to take custody of 23-year-old Henry
Contreras and 20-year-old Rodolfo Contreras, both of West New York. Both men were brought
in by West New York Police after it was determined they had warrants out of Hoboken. Henry
Contreras had an outstanding warrant for the original charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Rodolfo Contreras had an outstanding warrant out of Hoboken for the original charges of theft,
loitering, and failure to pay a fare. Both were processed and ultimately transported to the Hudson
County Correctional Facility.
12. On Nov. 12, 2025, at approximately 3:50 p.m., Police Officers Nicholas Losurdo and
Stephen Chowanec responded to the Passaic County Jail, to take custody of 41-year-old Moises
Zorrilla of Paterson, who had a warrant out of Hoboken, for failure to appear. The original
charge was for trespassing. Zorrilla was transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
