1. On November 18th, 2025, during a motor vehicle stop, members of the Guttenberg
Police Department’s Patrol Division arrested 50-year-old Nurudeen Olajide of North
Bergen, NJ, after discovering that he had an active warrant, issued by the North
Bergen Municipal Court. Mr. Olajide was transported to the North Bergen Police
Headquarters and turned over into the custody of the North Bergen Police
Department.
2. On November 18th, 2025, the West New York Police Department contacted the
Guttenberg Police Department to advise that during a motor vehicle stop, members of
the West New York Police Department’s Patrol Division arrested 36-year-old
Rosemary Bellido of Union City, NJ, after discovering that she had an active warrant,
issued by the Guttenberg Municipal Court. Ms. Bellido was transported to Guttenberg
Police Headquarters by members of the WNYPD for arrest processing. She was
processed and booked. She posted bail, and was released pending her next court
appearance in Guttenberg Municipal Court.
3. On November 23rd, 2025, Guttenberg Police Department received a call of a
suspicious vehicle parked on the 200 block of 71st Street. Once members of the
Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division arrived on scene and conducted an
investigation, they arrested 43-year-old Nery Perezlemus of Guttenberg, NJ, for
driving while intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Perezlemus was then transported to the
Guttenberg Police Department for his arrest processing. Upon the completion of his
arrest processing, Mr. Perezlemus was issued numerous summonses for traffic
violations and then released into the care of a responsible adult.
4. On November 21, 2025, the Guttenberg Police Department received a call regarding
two males trying to enter an apartment building on the 400 block of 68th Street.
Officers from both the Patrol and Criminal Investigations Bureau responded and
while on scene gathered information and obtained video footage of the suspects. An
investigation was initiated, leading to the identification of two suspects: Sean
Fishgold, a 43-year-old male from Philadelphia, PA, and Alteman Whyte, a 27-year-old male from Irvington, NJ. Complaint Warrants were generated for both males. Mr.
Fishgold was charged with Theft [2C:20-3a], Residential Burglary [2C:18-2.2] and
Conspiracy to Commit Residential Burglary [2C:5-2(a)1] [2C:18-2.2]. Mr. Whyte was
charged with Residential Burglary [2C:18-2.2] and Conspiracy to Commit Residential
Burglary [2C:5-2(a)1] [2C:18-2.2]. Two days later on November 23, 2025, the Little
Egg Harbor Police Department contacted the Guttenberg Police Department and
advised that they had Mr. Fishgold and Mr. Whyte in custody on the outstanding
warrants. Members of the Guttenberg Police Department's Criminal Investigation
Bureau traveled to the Little Egg Harbor Police Department to take custody of both
individuals. Mr. Fishgold and Mr. Whyte were then transported to Guttenberg Police
Headquarters, where they were processed and booked. Both males were transported
and lodged into the Hudson County Correctional Center pending their first
appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court.
The charges above are merely accusations. Every defendant is presumed
innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
