1. On Nov. 20, 2025, at approximately 1:10 a.m., Police Officers Zackary Guido and Daniella
Simone, observed 35-year-old Miguel Mongon of Hoboken, in the area of Third and Jackson
Streets and knew he had an active warrant in Hoboken. The warrant for driving while intoxicated
was confirmed and Mongon was arrested. Sgt. Daniel Grossi and Police Officers Geovanni
Cruzado and Trevor Thomas arrived to assist. Mongon was searched and officers located a
cigarette containing suspected CDS Phencyclidine (PCP). He was transported to Hoboken Police
Headquarters and charged with possession of CDS and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was
processed on the charges and the warrant, and transported to the Hudson County Correctional
Facility
2. On Nov. 20, 2025, at approximately 11 a.m., Police Officers Anthony Hochstadter and
Anthony Rutkowski responded to the Hudson County Superior Court, 595 Newark St., Jersey
City to take custody of 42-year-old Ilir Ulqinaku of Hoboken, who was wanted on a warrant for
harassment. After being picked up, Ulqinaku was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters
and processed on the warrant, before being transported to the Hudson County Correction
Facility.
3. On Nov. 21, 2025, at approximately 2:05 a.m., Police Officer Trevor Thomas was inside CVS,
59 Washington St., when a customer motioned to him that someone was in the process of
shoplifting. The customer pointed at an individual, later identified as 51-year-old Angel Azqueta
of Newark, and the officer observed him concealing multiple bags of candy under his coat, and
then running out of the store. Officer Thomas pursued Azqueta, and caught up with him near the
intersection of Newark and Court Streets. Azqueta tensed up his arms and pulled away, to avoid
being placed in handcuffs. Sgt. Daniel Grossi arrived on the scene to assist. Azqueta was arrested
and charged with shoplifting and resisting arrest. He was ultimately transported to the Hudson
County Correctional Facility.
4. On Nov. 22, 2025, at approximately, Police Officers Arturo Gonzalez and Bianca Arroyo
responded to CVS, 59 Washington St., on reports of a shoplifting. An on-scene investigation
revealed a man scanned a handful of items at the check-out counter but ran out of the store
before paying for anything. Sgt. James Barbaro and Police Officer Harry Montalvo observed a
man, later identified as 40-year-old Zahir Christmas of Jersey City, who fit the description of the
suspect near the Hoboken Terminal. When officers tried to stop him, he ran and jumped onto the
train tracks. He continued to run westbound on New Jersey Transit property. Officers later
located him on the 100 block of Jackson Street, and he was placed under arrest. He was
transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters, and it was discovered he had a warrant out of
Pompton Lakes. He was additionally charged with shoplifting, resisting arrest, obstructing the
administration of law, and refusal to submit fingerprinting. He was transported to the Hudson
County Correctional Facility.
5. On Nov. 22, 2025, at approximately 5:30 p.m., Police Officer Marc Lombardi responded to
ACME, 614 Clinton St., on reports of a shoplifting, which had occurred three days earlier. An
on-scene investigation revealed that the actor, identified as 48-year-old Michael Fortune of
Jersey City, entered the liquor section of the store and put approximately 30 bottles of tequila
worth approximately $1,469 in a bag, and walked out without paying. Fortune was charged on a
warrant. Approximately two hours later, Sgt. Harold Milne and Police Officers Lombardi,
Roberto Cuevas, and Michael Chen responded to the same ACME on reports of a shoplifting.
Fortune was seen walking out of the store as officers arrived. He was placed under arrest. An on-scene investigation revealed another man, who was still on the scene, was also involved in the
shoplifting. He gave the officers a fake name and was later identified as 42-year-old Terrence
Tutten of Jersey City. An investigation revealed that both men had put bottles of liquor into their
bags. Tutten was also arrested. Both men were transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters for
processing. Tutten was charged with shoplifting, obstructing administration of the law, and
hindering apprehension. It was discovered he had a warrant out of the Superior Court of New
Jersey. Fortune was charged with shoplifting. It was discovered he had multiple warrants out of
Hoboken and one out of Jersey City. Both were ultimately transported to the Hudson County
Correctional Facility.
6. On Nov. 22, 2025, at approximately 8:40 p.m., Police Officer Keven De La Cruz took custody
of 23-year-old Amakar Albuja of West New York, who had a warrant out of Hoboken for
driving while intoxicated. He was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters by New Jersey
State Police. Albuja was processed on the warrant, posted bail, and was released with a new
court date.
7. On Nov. 22, 2025, at approximately 10 p.m., Police Officers Alyssa Rivera, Stephen
Chowanec, and Brian Kim responded to the Hoboken Smoke Shop, 614 Washington St., on
reports of a robbery, where the actor had left. Officers located an individual who matched a
description of the actor, later identified as 20-year-old Isabella Feliciano of Jersey City, near the
intersection of Ninth and Washington Streets. As they approached her, Feliciano ran away but
stopped on the 900 block of Hudson Street. Police Officer Dylan Archilla arrived on the scene to
assist. An on-scene investigation revealed Feliciano tried to buy vapes, but didn’t have
identification, and left. She returned later, grabbed four vapes and ran out of the store. An
employee tried to stop her, but she pushed him and ran off. Feliciano was arrested and
transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters where she was charged with robbery and processed
before being transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
8. On Nov. 23, 2025, at approximately 2 a.m., members of the Hoboken Police Department
responded to Tally Ho, 215 Washington St., on reports of a fight. An on-scene investigation
revealed an altercation had occurred inside the establishment and spilled outside. Two
individuals, identified as 23-year-old Vanessa Reyes of North Bergen and 18-year-old Junuet
Montano of West New York were seen in a physical altercation. They were separated, arrested,
and transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters. A third individual, later identified as 21-year-old Gian Escobar of Union City, jumped over a barricade, and was told by officers to leave the
area, which he did first. He later returned to the area, pushed one of the officers who was
attempting to disperse the crowd, and tried to run away. Escobar was arrested but initially
resisted by lying on his stomach and refusing to remove his arms from underneath his body. He
was eventually handcuffed and transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters. Escobar was
charged with aggravated assault, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct. Montano and Reyes
were charged with simple assault. All three were released on summons.
9. On Nov. 24, 2025, at approximately 6:20 a.m., Police Officers Carmen Benitez and Thomas
Graziano were on patrol on the 600 block of Sixth Street, when they were approached by an
individual who told them another man was passed out in the hallway of a nearby building on
Hoboken Housing Authority (HHA) property. They located the man, later identified as 25-year-old Shakir Scott of Hoboken, laying on the floor. Police Officers Jaydan Gonzalez and Donovan
Ortiz arrived on the scene. It was determined he did not live in the building and did not know
anyone who lived there. It was discovered he had an open warrant out of Jersey City. He was
arrested and while he was being escorted to the patrol car, he urinated. He was transported to
Hoboken Police Headquarters and charged with defiant trespassing and public urination. After
processing, he was taken into custody by Jersey City Police, on the open warrant.
10. On Nov. 24, 2025, at approximately 10:25 a.m., Police Officers William Vera and Aidan
Gonzalez responded to the Hoboken University Medical Center, Willow St., on reports of an
individual who was in possession of multiple credit cards that belonged to other people. The man
was identified as 52-year-old Makeber Gantt of Jersey City, and it was discovered he had three
warrants in Jersey City. Officers took possession of five credit or debit cards with other people’s
names on them, along with a laundry card and a cash card. He was charged with theft of credit
cards and ultimately transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
11. On Nov. 24, 2025, at approximately 2:45 p.m., Police Officers Harry Montalvo and Leo
Colon responded to McDonald’s, 234 Washington St., on reports of a disorderly individual who
brandished a knife at employees, and then fled in the direction of the Hoboken Shelter, 300
Bloomfield St. The officers located a man who matched the description of the actor, leaving the
shelter. They stopped the individual, later identified as 35-year-old Jesus Andrade of
Weehawken, and located a silver box cutter, approximately 6 inches long, inside his right pant
pocket. Andrade became irate and began yelling profane language, causing alarm to passersby.
He was arrested for disorderly conduct and transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters. Police
Officer John Rodriguez conducted an on-scene investigation, which revealed Andrade had
entered the McDonald’s and tried to pay for food he never ordered. He began yelling at
employees, and then showed them a box cutter, before banging it on the counter, and telling
employees to run. Andrade also spit at one of the employees. Andrade was additionally charged
with making terroristic threats, possession of weapons for unlawful purposes, unlawful
possession of weapons, and disorderly conduct. It was discovered he had four warrants; one out
of Hudson County, one out of Hoboken, one During processing, Andrade refused to be
fingerprinted, and he was additionally charged with refusal to submit to fingerprinting. He was
transported to a nearby hospital before ultimately being taken to the Hudson County Correctional
Facility.
12. On Nov. 25, 2025, at approximately 11 a.m., Detective Jesse Castellano and Police Officers
Frank Losurdo and Leroy Sherrill responded to St. Matthews Soup Kitchen, 800 Hudson St., on
reports that 23-year-old Androkle Batistasoriano of Hoboken, who was wanted in connection to
three purse snatchings and a scooter theft, earlier in the month, was there. The incidents were
reported in the overnight hours of Nov. 7. An investigation, led by Det. Castellano and Police
Officer Jason Montalvo, with assistance from additional Detective Bureau personnel, identified
Batistasoriano as the suspect in all three cases. On Nov. 25, he was located, arrested, transported
to Hoboken Police Headquarters, and charged with two counts of robbery and two counts of
theft. After being processed, he was taken to the Hudson County Correctional Facility. Read
