1. On 12/29/2025 at 8:13 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 31-year-old male, Justice Samuel of Willingboro, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of South Hackensack, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00. Samuel was unable to post bail for the involved warrant. Mr. Samuel was also issued 1 motor vehicle summons. Officers from the South Hackensack Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of Mr. Samuel for transport back to their agency.

2. On 12/30/2025 at 1:02 PM, in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department in relation to a shoplifting that occurred at Kohl’s on 09/09/2025, the police responded to the Bergen County Jail and fingerprinted a 27-year-old male, Adhemar Castillo of Clifton, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant that was issued for the charges of Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)] and Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)]. Castillo was processed for the charges and remained in the custody of the Bergen County Correctional Facility.

3. On 12/30/2025 at 4:13 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 24-year-old male, Pedro Nunez of Passaic, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of Clifton, NJ with no bail. Nunez was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

4. On 12/31/2025 at 4:47 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Kohl’s located at 3 Millcreek Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 49-year-old male, Hassan Williams of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Essex County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. Williams was subsequently transported to the Essex County Jail.

5. On 01/01/2026 at 5:56 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 26-year-old male, Samuel James of Brooklyn, NY for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $6,000.00 with a 10% option and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $5,000.00 with a 10% option. James was unable to post bail for the involved warrants. Mr. James was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

6. On 01/02/2026 at 1:00 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the Pompton Lakes Police Department to take into custody a 34-year-old male, Matthew Taylor of Franklin Lakes, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $3,000.00 with a 10% option. Taylor was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently released from police custody.

7. On 01/03/2026 at 8:58 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 25-year-old female, Joan Hiciano of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $2,000.00 with a 10% option. Hiciano was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

8. On 01/03/2026 at 2:53 PM, in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department in relation to an incident of Eluding that occurred on 01/02/2026 after a motor vehicle failed to stop for the police, the police responded to Home Depot and took into custody a 21-year-old male, Noah Santos of East Orange, NJ for Eluding [2C:29-2B]. Santos was issued his complaint summons along with 5 motor vehicle summonses and he was released from police custody.

9. On 01/03/2026 at 11:17 PM, Secaucus Police responded to 1190 Paterson Plank Road on a report of an individual trespassing in the laundry room. During the investigation, the police arrested a 42-year-old male, Jason Taylor of Secaucus, NJ for Criminal Trespass [2C:18-3A]. Taylor was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

10. On 01/04/2025 at 9:06 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Hawthorne Police Department to take into custody a 43-year-old male, John Gilberti of Fair Lawn, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $5,000.00 with a 10% option. Gilberti was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.


These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
