Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Department Officer-In-Charge Patrick Murray announce that on January 4, 2026, a deceased man with signs of physical
injury, later identified as 35-year-old Alexis Viveros-Callejas, was discovered in the area of 15th
Street and 6th Avenue in Paterson, New Jersey.
An investigation is active and ongoing. More information will be released when it becomes
available.
