The Sussex County Library System (SCLS) is excited to announce its first-ever Winter Art-a-Thon. Artists of all ages are invited to celebrate the season with creativity throughout the month of February.
Interested participants can visit any SCLS branch in February to pick up an 8 ½ x 11 piece of cardstock and create an original work of art inspired by the theme of Winter. As the submissions come in, they will be displayed to create a winter wonderland inspired by you!
Senior Library Assistant Amelia Maio, who spearheaded the program, notes, “I hope this opportunity allows anyone to create something for themselves.”
Completed artwork should be returned to any SCLS branch by the end of February. Each library branch will proudly display submissions for patrons to enjoy.
