On Wednesday, January 14, 2026, following a prolonged investigation into the distribution of heroin in
Washington Township, the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Task Force, and the
Washington Township Police Department executed a search warrant on the 100 block of Bowerstown
Road. During the investigation, Alicia Todd and Jaime Tompkins were both identified as suspects of this
narcotics investigation. Todd and Tompkins were arrested, processed, and lodged in the Warren County
Correctional Center.
Alicia Todd and Jaime Tompkins were charged on a Complaint Warrant with the offenses below.
- Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, specifically suspected heroin, in
violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-10a(1), a crime of the third degree;
- Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance with the Intent to Distribute, in violation
of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-5b(3), a crime of the third degree;
- Distribution of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-5b(3), a
crime of the third degree;
- Conspiracy/Distribution of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, specifically by conspiring
with each other to arrange for the distribution of CDS, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:5-2a(1)
/ N.J.S.A. 2C:35:5b(3), a crime of the third degree.
Third degree crimes carry a maximum sentence of (5) five years in the New Jersey State Prison.
The charges are merely accusations. The defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven
guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
This investigation was conducted by the Warren County Prosecutor’s Narcotics Task Force and the
Washington Township Police Department, with assistance from the Mansfield Township Police
Department. The Warren County Tactical Response Team assisted in executing the search warrant.
