Jan. 16, 2026, approximately 8:35 a.m., 300 block of Jackson Street. Joseph Cooper, 59, of
Jersey City, was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of
burglary tools, and unlawful use of credit cards. He was found to have a warrant out of Hoboken
and one out of the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office. He was transported to the Hudson County
Correctional Facility. Responding officers included Police Officers Bianca Arroyo, Adrian
Capogna, and Michael Aviles.
Jan. 17, 2026, approximately 5:55 p.m., Hoboken Shelter, 300 Bloomfield Street. Joane
Carbone, 74, of Hoboken, was arrested for trespassing. She was released with a summons.
Responding officers included Police Officers Valentino Salgado and Mario Rodriguez.
Jan. 18, 2026, approximately 1:30 a.m., 500 block of Adams Street. Ernst Saintpierre of
Newark was issued a summons for driving without a license and arrested on two warrants; one
out of Elizabeth and the other from East Orange. He was released on the scene. Responding
officers included Police Officers Valentino Salgado and Anish Bhisey.
Jan. 19, 2026, approximately 3:50 a.m., Blue Foundry Bank, 334 Washington St. Angel
Sanchez, 46, of Jersey City was arrested for the unlicensed entry of structures. He was released
on the scene. Responding officers included Police Officers Carmen Benitez and Brian Kim.
Jan. 20, 2026, approximately 6:20 a.m., 100 block of Garden Street. Yesenia Santiago, 34, of
Jersey City was arrested on three warrants; one each from Hoboken, Jersey City, and Green
Township. She was released from custody with new court dates. Responding Officers included
Lt. Francis McCourt and Police Officers Aidan Gonzalez, Domenick Allegretta, Anthony
Olivera, Donovan Ortiz, Shawn Sodora, Brandon Cappelluti, Ricky Truppner, and Carmen
Benitez.
Jan. 20, 2026, approximately 12:45 p.m., 9th Street Light Rail Station, 900 Jackson St.
Rodolfo Contraras, 20, of West New York, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and
possession of CDS. He was ultimately transported to Hudson County Correctional Facility.
Responding officers included Police Officers Harry Montalvo and Rose Kanan.
Jan. 21, 2026, approximately 12:50 p.m., 200 block of Ninth Street. Jason Alvarez, 44, of
Union City was arrested on two warrants; one out of Jersey City and the other out of Bayonne.
He was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and ultimately transported to the
Hudson County Correctional Facility. Responding Officers included Sgt. Anthony Fesken, Sgt.
James Barbro, and Police Officers Shelby Seickendick, Anthony Rutkowski, and Teddy
Santiago.
Jan. 21, 2026, approximately 2:55 p.m., 600 block of Jackson Street. Angelo Gomez, 59, of
Jersey City was arrested on a failure to appear warrant out of Hoboken for possession of drug
paraphernalia. He was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and refusal of
fingerprinting and ultimately transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
Responding officers included Police Officers Rose Kanan and Bianca Arroyo.
