Warrent Arrest
On Wednesday, February 25, 2026, the NJ State Police arrested & dropped off Mr. Andrew Vital, who had an active $1,000 traffic warrant out of the Town of Harrison. Mr. Vital was processed, escorted to Harrison Municipal Court for his proceedings and released by the court without incident.

Warrant Arrest (Passenger) – N. 2nd St & Harrison Ave
On February 27, 2026, at approximately 1705 hours, Officer Carlos Delgado conducted a traffic stop for seatbelt and equipment violations. The rear seat passenger, William T. Conway (27), was found to have three active warrants totaling $6,250. Mr. Conway was arrested and transported to headquarters. One jurisdiction released him on recognizance while another agency responded to take custody. Detective Sergeant Freddy Lecca and Officer Christian Vargas assisted.

Driving While Suspended / Warrant Arrest – Frank E. Rodgers Blvd S & Somerset St
On February 28, 2026, at approximately 0112 hours, Officer Nicole M. Yamuca conducted a traffic stop on a black Infiniti G37 for tinted windows. The driver, Jahmil R. Adams (30), was found to have a suspended license and an active $1,000 ATS warrant out of Woodbridge Township. He was arrested, and the vehicle was impounded. Bail was later posted and he was released with a court date. Sergeant Iker Bermudez and Officer Connor McClelland assisted.

Multiple Warrant Arrest – 600 Cape May Street
On February 26, 2026, at approximately 2228 hours, Officer Nicole M. Yamuca conducted a traffic stop after identifying a suspended registered owner. The driver, Avery K. Pankey (38), was found to have multiple active ATS warrants out of Harrison, Wayne Township, and Jersey City totaling $1,450. He was arrested and transported to headquarters. Bail was posted and he was released on recognizance with new court dates. Sergeant Iker Bermudez and Officer Alex Naprawa assisted.

Warrant Arrest – 1409 Liberty Ave (Hillside PD)
On February 26, 2026, at approximately 1546 hours, Officer Carlos Delgado and Officer Jonathan Puglla responded to the Hillside Police Department to take custody of Marcus L. Peay (52), who was being held on an active $1,000 Harrison warrant. Mr. Peay was transported without incident to Hudson County Correctional Facility.

DWI Arrest – Harrison Ave & Passaic Ave
On February 28, 2026 at approximately 0216 hours, Detective Sergeant Freddy Lecca observed a 2009 Ford F150 driving erratically on Harrison Avenue. The driver, Edwin P. Tayupanta-Pombosa (24), displayed signs of intoxication and admitted to consuming multiple alcoholic beverages. After failing standardized field sobriety tests, he was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. Alcotest results indicated a BAC of .18%. He was issued multiple motor vehicle summonses and later released to a responsible party. Officers Jonathan Puglla and Connor McClelland assisted.

Possession of CDS / Warrant Arrest – 501 Frank E. Rodgers Blvd S
On February 25, 2026 at approximately 2200 hours, Officer Jonathan Puglla observed a male consuming alcohol in public near Frank E. Rodgers Blvd South. Further investigation revealed the individual, Raymond Lowman (52), had an active $1,000 warrant out of Harrison. During a search incident to arrest, officers recovered one Oxycodone pill and a glass pipe. Mr. Lowman was charged with Possession of CDS and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, issued a municipal summons for drinking in public, and transported to Hudson County Correctional Facility. Detective Sergeant Freddy Lecca and Officer Santiago Gomez assisted.

DWI Arrest - 02/28/2026 – 1933 Hours
PO Delgado responded to the River Walk behind Dey and Bergen on a report of an SUV driving on the pedestrian path. A 2015 Honda was located near 1 Harrison Ave with the driver attempting to exit the area. The driver, identified as Jose A. Valladolid Vaca, emitted a strong odor of alcohol and admitted to consuming two beers at “Marbellas” in Newark. He failed Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and was placed under arrest for DWI.

DWI Arrest - 02/28/2026 – 2340 Hours
While on patrol in the area of Frank E. Rodgers Blvd S, PO Maitin conducted an inquiry on a Hyundai Santa Fe, which revealed the registered owner’s driver’s license was suspended, and the vehicle registration was expired and suspended. A motor vehicle stop was conducted at Frank E. Rodgers Blvd S and Angelo Cifelli Drive. The driver, identified as Richard D. Arcos-Jaramillo, was unable to provide registration or insurance and admitted to consuming two beers. Officers detected the odor of alcohol and observed red, watery eyes. After failing Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, he was placed under arrest for DWI.

Warrant Arrest - 03/01/2026 – 1920 Hours
While on proactive patrol in the area of Frank E. Rodgers Blvd N and Cleveland Ave, PO Burgo conducted a random inquiry on a 2004 blue Toyota. The inquiry revealed the registered owner had an active $2,000 warrant out of Kearny. A motor vehicle stop was conducted at Frank E. Rodgers Blvd N and Hamilton St. The driver, identified as Henrique Vicente-Pardal, was confirmed as the registered owner. Dispatch verified the warrant as active. He was placed under arrest.

DWI Arrest -03/01/2026 – 0146 Hours
PO Burgo and PO Diouf responded to Bergen St on a report of two males unconscious in a vehicle facing the wrong direction of travel. A gray Ford Explorer was located facing westbound in the eastbound lane. The driver, identified as Jose Yuquilima, was initially unresponsive and later exhibited slurred speech, unsteady balance, bloodshot/watery eyes, and a strong odor of alcohol. EMS responded, medical attention was refused. Yuquilima refused to perform Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and was placed under arrest for DWI.

DWI Arrest - 03/03/2026 – 0054 Hours
PO Burgo responded to Harrison Ave in front of Parc Tavern (715 Harrison Ave) on a report of a motor vehicle crash involving a traffic signal. A 2012 silver Jeep was located with significant front-end damage. A traffic signal at Hiram Pl and Harrison Ave was found knocked down and destroyed. Additional HPD units responded to assist. The driver, identified as Eduardo M. Cintron, stated he misjudged a U-turn and struck the signal. He declined medical attention. Officers detected an odor of alcohol and observed bloodshot/glossy eyes. After initially denying consumption, he later admitted to having two alcoholic beverages. He failed Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and was placed under arrest for DWI.

Stolen Motor Vehicle / DWI - 03/01/2026 – 0146 Hours
While on patrol, Sgt Lecca observed a white Honda Accord with a broken headlight, shattered windshield, and broken mirror. A license plate inquiry returned not on file. The vehicle stopped near Passaic Ave and Reynolds Ave. The driver, identified as Ronnette Sanyaolu, displayed slurred speech, bloodshot/watery eyes, slow movements, and unsteady balance. A strong odor of burnt marijuana was emanating from the vehicle, and marijuana roaches were observed inside.

Dispatch advised the vehicle was reported stolen out of Wharton PD. She was placed under arrest. The passenger, Shana Carey, was found to have outstanding warrants from Newark Municipal Court ($3,500) and Irvington Municipal Court ($350) and was placed under arrest. At headquarters, Sanyaolu submitted to Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and provided Alcotest samples with a reported 0.00% BAC. A Hudson County DRE responded and conducted an evaluation; results pending. Vehicle was impounded pursuant to John’s Law.

Warrant Arrest 2/28/26
On 02/28/2026, at approximately 0745 hours, PO. Robinson and PO Barbosa responded to Elizabeth Police Headquarters and picked up Mr. Octavio Serna Contreras, who had an active ATS Warrant out of the Town of Harrison. Mr. Contreras was processed & transported to Hudson County Correctional Center without incident.
