Last week's arrests and incidents as released by the Secaucus police.

On 05/11/2020 at 1:19 AM, Secaucus Police responded to The Extended Stay Hotel located at 1 Plaza Drive on a report of a female being held against her will. During the investigation, the police arrested a 33 year old male, Alex Jean of New York, NY for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Elmwood Park, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Fairfield, NJ in the amount of $500.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Wayne, NJ in the amount of $500.00. Mr. Jean was released on his own recognizance pending future court dates and he was subsequently released from police custody.

On 05/12/2020 at 3:56 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the Jersey City Police Department to take into custody a 41 year old male, Robert Barker of East Orange, NJ for 2 outstanding warrants issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $2,500.00. Mr. Barker was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 05/12/20202 at 6:50 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the Bonefish Grill located at 200 Millcreek Drive on a report of an alarm sounding. During the investigation, the police arrested a 21 year old male, Rennie Garcia of North Bergen, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)]. Mr. Garcia was served his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 05/12/2020 at 5:48 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of 1000 Riverside Station Boulevard on a report of a possible burglary into a motor vehicle. During the investigation, the police arrested a 37 year old male, Marvin Mixson of Newark, NJ for Burglary [2C:18-2A(1)] and Theft [2C:20-3A]. Mr. Mixson was served his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 05/15/2020 at 5:08 AM, Secaucus Police observed a vehicle being operated recklessly in the area of Secaucus Road. The vehicle failed to stop for police when the police attempted to conduct a motor vehicle stop. A brief motor vehicle pursuit was undertaken, but terminated when the officer lost sight of the vehicle, which was later determined to be stolen. The vehicle was later located in the area of County Avenue and Paterson Plank Road. The police arrested a 19 year old male, Carlos Cruz of West New York, NJ for Eluding Police [2C:29-2B] and Receiving Stolen Property [2C:20-7A]. Mr. Cruz was served his complaint warrant along with 6 motor vehicle summonses and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

These charges are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
