Infected
Deaths

During the past week, there were 93 new cases of coronavirus reported in Secaucus, as the total number of cases grew from 811 to 904. Given that there were only 38 new cases last week, this means that the infection rate just shot up by a staggering 244.7%. Furthermore, this is the second highest infection rate since the whole pandemic started, so we seem to be on a very disturbing trend. As a sign of how New Jersey overall is slipping back into a dangerous situation, New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy just signed an executive order this week to place new restrictions on New Jersey restaurants, bars, and sporting events. Hopefully, these new measures will prevent the situation from becoming any worse.
