Sr. Counselor must be 18 years old and regular counselor 16 years old by July 1st to apply.
• Provide various activities for children in the park

Applications for the
Summer Day Camp programs will be accepted until
May 15, 2019. All applications will be reviewed, and applicants selected will be notified if hired by early June. Applicants hired under the age of 18 require working papers (which will be provided) and applicants over the age of 18 will be required to a background check.
*All Directors and Counselors hired must attend a mandatory orientation and training prior to the start of the Summer Programs. Time and date TBD in June 2019.

Swim Club:
Lifeguards
•
Applicants must be 15 years old by May 25, 2019 or older to apply.
• Must have lifeguard training, certified in CPR/AED, and First Aid Training.
• Maintain the safety of patrons in an around the pool.
• Perform rescues in the event of drowning or swimming accidents.
• Walking and sitting post.
• Perform various maintenance duties as directed to maintain to ensure that the grounds are clean.
• Cleaning and skimming of all swimming pools when needed.
• Maintain all lifeguard equipment.
Clerical / Gate
•
Applicants must be 16 years old by May 25, 2019 or older to apply.
• Operates a cash register, collects fees, and issues stamps.
• Provides information to the public regarding events, admission price and hours of operation.
• Checks for proper identification and pool passes.
• Checks backpacks, beach bags, and cooler for alcohol and any glass bottles.
• Rotates to each assigned post.
• Sell merchandise and reserve cabanas.
• Surveillance of the wading pool.
• Inspecting the grounds to ensure that they are clean.
Pool Maintenance
•
Applicants must be 18 years old by May 25, 2019 or older to apply.
• Maintain pool chemicals and circulation at proper levels.
• Perform pool checks to ensure safety and hygiene as well as keep accurate records of pool use and chemicals.
• Start up and closing of all pools.
• Take inventory
• Clean all bathrooms, showers, lockers, and the garbage around the ground, clean under the pavilion.
• Back washing of the pool.
• Inspect the grounds to ensure that they are clean.
• Vacuum all pools.
Pool Custodian
•
Applicants must be 16 years old by May 25, 2019 or older to apply.
• Must go on clerical rotation when needed.
• Take out trash & pick up garbage on lawn.
• Water grass and plants.
• Vacuum all pools.
• Clean up cabanas throughout the day.
• Bring in chairs on lawn.
• Clean all bathrooms, showers, lockers, and the garbage around the ground, clean under the pavilion.
