On 02/15/2021 at 3:04 PM, in furtherance of an investigation being conducted by the Secaucus Police Detective Division in regards to a Robbery that occurred at Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on 02/08/2021 at 3:00 PM, the Secaucus Police charged a 46 year old male, Erickson Pena of Bergenfield, NJ with Robbery [2C:15-1A(2)], Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose [2C:39-4E] and Impersonating a Public Servant [2C:28-8B]. Mr. Pena was found to be in the custody of the Hudson County Correctional Facility at the time the warrant was issued.

On 02/16/2021 at 11:37 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 29 year old female, Juliusa Lee of Jersey City, NJ for 3 outstanding warrants issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $300.00 along with a 30 year old male, Tyquion Miller of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of East Orange, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Union City, NJ in the amount of $500.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $100.00. Ms. Lee was further charged with Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)]. Ms. Lee was released on her own recognizance. Mr. Miller was released on his own recognizance pending future court dates. Ms. Lee was issued her complaint summons and she was released from police custody. Mr. Miller was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and he was released from police custody.

On 02/16/2021 at 4:35 PM, Secaucus Police responded to UPS located at 493 County Avenue on a report that an individual was using a fraudulent identification when attempting to pick up a package. During the investigation, the police arrested a 19 year old male, Frank Carrasco of Ridgewood, NY for Theft of Identity [2C:21-17A(2)], Displaying a False Government Document [2C:21-2.1C], Possessing a False Government Document [2C:21-2.1D] and Criminal Attempt [2C:5-1A(1). Mr. Carrasco was served his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 02/17/2021 at 1:37 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of 101 Plaza Centre Road on a report of a male who had exposed himself. During the investigation, the police arrested a 56 year old male, Darrel Hargrove of Secaucus, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office with no bail, along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Hoboken, NJ in the amount of $175.00, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $100.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $350.00 with a 10% option. Mr. Hargrove was released on his own recognizance pending future court dates. Mr. Hargrove was charged with Public Urination [Town Ordinance 106-1]. Mr. Hargrove was issued his special complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 02/17/2021 at 6:11 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 24 year old male, Jason Castillo of the Bronx, NY for Shoplifting [2c:20-11B(1)], Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, a knife [2C:39-5D], Possession of a Weapon for Unlawful Purpose [2C:39-4D] and Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] for providing false information to Law Enforcement. Mr. Castillo was further found to have 2 outstanding warrants issued out of Garfield, NJ in the amount of $1,500.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of South Plainfield, NJ in the amount of $500.00. Mr. Castillo was served his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 02/17/2021 at 3:11 AM, Secaucus Police attempted to conduct a motor vehicle stop of a motor vehicle in the area of County Avenue and County Road. The motor vehicle failed to stop for police who were exhibiting their emergency lights and siren. An investigation was conducted by the Secaucus Police Patrol Division and on 02/18/2021 at 2:20 AM, the Secaucus Police responded to UPS located at 493 County Avenue and arrested a 50 year old male, Edwin Conty of East Stroudsburg, PA for Eluding [2C:29-2B]. Mr. Conty was served his complaint summons along with 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On 02/18/2021 at 3:19 AM, Secaucus Police conducted a motor vehicle stop of a motor vehicle in the area of County Avenue and Secaucus Road. During the motor vehicle stop, the police received a fraudulent report of an armed robbery in Secaucus, NJ involving a firearm. During the investigation, the operator of the motor vehicle involved in the motor vehicle stop was found to have made the fraudulent 911 call in an attempt to avoid receiving motor vehicle summonses. The police responded to Jersey City, NJ and took into custody the operator of the motor vehicle, a 58 year old male, Raymond Meyers of Jersey City, NJ for False Public Alarms for reporting a crime knowing that it was false [2C:33-3A(1)(B)], Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)], False Reports to Law Enforcement [2C:28-4B(1)], Obstructing the Administration of Law [2C:29-1A] and False Public Alarms for calling 911 without the need for 911 service [2C:33-3E]. Mr. Meyers was served his complaint warrant along with 8 motor vehicle summonses and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 02/18/2021 at 7:38 AM, in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department Detective Division in regards to a burglary that had taken place at the Riverside Medical Group located at 1 Harmon Plaza on 07/05/2020, the police charged a 55 year old male, Richard Medina of West New York, NJ with Burglary [2C:18-2A(1)], Theft [2C:20-3B], 2 counts of Criminal Mischief [2C:17-3A(1)] and Possession of Burglar Tools [2C:5-5A(1)]. At the time the complaint warrant was issued, Mr. Medina was found to be incarcerated within the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

On 02/18/2021 at 8:38 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 43 year old male, Marlon Rollins of Inwood, WV for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of South Plainfield, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00. The South Plainfield Police Department did release Mr. Rollins on his own recognizance pending a future court date. Mr. Rollins was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On 02/19/2021 at 11:06 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the Extended Stay located at 1 Plaza Drive on a report of a verbal dispute. During the investigation, the police arrested a 35 year old male, Efrain Ocana of the Bronx, NY for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued by the New York State Corrections and Community Supervision with no bail and full extradition. Mr. Ocana was further charged with Being a Fugitive from Justice [2A:160-10], Tampering with Evidence [2C:28-6(1)], Possession of CDS believed to be Methamphetamine [2C:35-10A(1)], Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)], Failure to turn over CDS to Law Enforcement [2C:35-10C] and Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)]. Mr. Ocana was served his complaint warrants and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 02/19/2021 at 3:26 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, the police arrested a 35 year old male, Oscar Flores of Secaucus, NJ for Possession with intent to Distribute CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-5B(12)] and Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)]. During the investigation, the police also arrested a 48 year old male, Sergio Menendez of Secaucus, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)]. Mr. Flores and Mr. Menendez were served their complaint summonses and were released from police custody.

On 02/19/2021 at 4:10 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Best Buy located at 925 Paterson Plank Road on a report of a known shoplifter currently inside the store. It was then reported that the suspicious individual had left the store without taking any merchandise. The police observed the vehicle that the suspicious individual had entered and a motor vehicle stop of the vehicle was conducted. During the investigation, the police arrested a 41 year old male, Leslie Green of Staten Island, NY for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Paramus, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00. Mr. Green was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody.

On 02/20/2021 at 8:55 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 22 year old male, Julian Montalvo of Brooklyn, NY for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(3)], Possession with intent to Distribute CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-5B(11)], Possession with intent to Distribute CDS believed to be Marijuana within 500 feet of a Public Housing Facility [2C:35-7.1A] and Possession with intent to Distribute Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-3]. Mr. Montalvo was served his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 02/20/2021 at 1:25 PM, in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Patrol Division in reference to a theft of a cellphone that took place at the Sam’s Club located at 300 Park Plaza Drive on 02/19/2021 at 11:05 AM, the Secaucus Police arrested a 26 year old male, Jordhi Herrera of Jersey City, NJ for Theft of Property Lost/Mislaid [2C:20-6] at Secaucus Police Headquarters. Mr. Herrera was served his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 02/20/2021 at 2:27 PM, the police arrested a 22 year old female, Lanashia Small of Jersey City, NJ for Exhibiting a False Government Document [2C:21-1.1C] after Ms. Small entered Secaucus Police Headquarters and provided a fraudulent NJ Driver’s License when attempting to retrieve a previously impounded motor vehicle. Ms. Small was served her complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 02/20/2021 at 7:47 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 25 year old male, Amaury Veloz of Paterson, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Paterson, NJ in the amount of $200.00. Mr. Veloz was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 4 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On 02/20/2021 at 10:40 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 47 year old male, Joseph Kahn of Fairview, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Cocaine [2C:35-10A(1)] and Possession of CDS believed to be Crack Cocaine [2C:35-10A(1)]. Mr. Kahn was served his complaint summons along with 1 motor vehicle summons and was released from police custody.

On 02/21/2021 at 10:33 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the Extended Stay America located at 1 Plaza Drive on a report of a dispute. During the investigation, the police arrested a 30 year old male, Pablito Tirado-Santiago of Paterson, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be GHB [2C:35-10A(1)], Possession of a Hypodermic Needle [2C:36-6A] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Mr. Tirado-Santiago was served his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
