Secaucus Police Blotter 04/05/2021 - 04/11/2021

On 04/05/2021 at 6:30 AM, in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department Detective Division in regards to a Burglary and Theft that occurred to 3 Trailers located at the Sam’s Club at 300 Park Plaza Drive on 02/08/2021, the police responded to Fairview, NJ and arrested a 36 year old male, Gawad Dalia of Fairview, NJ for Burglary [2C:18-2A(1)] and Theft [2C:20-3A]. Mr. Dalia was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of North Bergen, NJ with no bail. Mr. Dalia was served his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 04/06/2021 at 7:58 PM, in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department of a theft incident that occurred at UPS located at 493 County Avenue on 04/02/2021, the police responded to the area of County Avenue and arrested a 19 year old male, Blaine Sharpe of Bloomfield, NJ for Theft [2C:20-3A]. Mr. Sharpe was served his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 04/08/2021 at 7:20 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 37 year old male, Hezzie Lewis of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $150.00. The Jersey City Police Department did release Mr. Lewis on his own recognizance pending a future court date. Mr. Lewis was issued 3 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On 04/09/2021 at 3:11 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the parking lot at 101 Plaza Centre Road on a report of children being left unattended in a motor vehicle. During the investigation, the police arrested a 38 year old female of Secaucus, NJ for 2 counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child [2C:24-4A(2)]. The actor was served her complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 04/11/2021 at 4:46 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 36 year old male, Anthony Simpson of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $5,000.00 with a 10% option and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $100.00. Mr. Simpson was unable to post bail for the involved warrants, was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and was subsequently transported to the Jersey City Police Department.
