Secaucus Police Blotter 09/20/2021 - 09/26/2021

On 09/20/2021 at 2:47 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the Exxon Gas Station located at 209 Route 3 East on a report of a motor vehicle which was stopped at the gas pump with a flat tire and the occupant appeared to be unconscious. During the investigation, the police arrested a 23 year old female, Joely Martinez of Newark, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Ms. Martinez was issued her motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional 8 motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On 09/20/2021 at 9:56 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 30 year old male, Carlos Santos of Belleville, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of Orange, NJ with no bail. Mr. Santos was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and was subsequently transported to the Orange Police Department.

On 09/20/2021 at 5:46 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 27 year old male, Yan Azcona-Polonia of Little Ferry, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Moonachie, NJ in the amount of $500.00 with a 10% option. Mr. Azcona-Polonia was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On 09/22/2021 at 1:17 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the Essex County Jail to take custody of a 46 year old male, Craig Sinclair of Plainfield, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $500.00. Mr. Sinclair was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 09/22/2021 at 8:00 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the CVS located at 101 Plaza Centre Road on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 37 year old female, Delmy Fragoso of North Bergen, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)], Possession of CDS believed to be Percocet [2C:35-10A(1)], Possession of CDS believed to be Tramadol [2C:35-10A(1)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Ms. Fragoso was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 09/23/2021 at 10:08 AM, in furtherance of an investigation being conducted by the Secaucus Police Detective Division in relation to a motor vehicle theft that occurred at 50 Meadowlands Parkway on 09/03/2021, the police charged a 37 year old male, Roberto Laboy of Union City, NJ for Burglary [2C:18-2A(1)] and [Theft 2C:20-2B(2)(B)]. Mr. Laboy was found to be in the custody of the Hudson County Correctional Facility. Mr. Laboy was served his complaint summons and remained in the custody of the Hudson County Jail.

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
