On 01/31/2022 at 10:33 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 27 year old male, Ayana Hall of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Hanover, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00 along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of East Orange, NJ in the amount of $750.00, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Wayne, NJ in the amount of $750.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $200.00. Hanover along with East Orange, Wayne and Newark released Mr. Hall on his own recognizance pending future court dates. Mr. Hall was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and he was released from police custody.

On 01/31/2022 at 1:46 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 26 year old male, Yei Almontezabala of New Brunswick, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of North Brunswick, NJ in the amount of $500.00. Mr. Almontezabala was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody.

On 01/31/2022 at 6:03 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 26 year old male, Joseph Erazo of Secaucus, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $100.00. Mr. Erazo was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and was released from police custody.

On 01/31/2022 at 8:10 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Kohl’s located at 3 Millcreek Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 37 year old male, Marvin Haynes of Brooklyn, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)], Conspiracy to Commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)], Obstructing the Administration of Law by Flight [2C:29-1A], Resisting Arrest [2C:29-2A(1)], Possession of CDS believed to be Cocaine [2C:35-10A(1)], Possession of CDS believed to be Ecstasy [2C:35-10A(1)], Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, a box cutter [2C:39-5D] and Failure to turn over CDS to Law Enforcement [2C:35-10C]. The police also arrested a 27 year old male, David Jones of Brooklyn, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)], Conspiracy to Commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)], Disorderly Conduct [2C:33-2A(2)] and Obstructing the Administration of Law [2C:29-1A]. Both Mr. Haynes and Mr. Jones were issued their complaint summonses and were released from police custody.

On 02/01/2022 at 11:30 AM, in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Detective Division in regards to a motor vehicle theft that occurred on 01/03/2022 at 209 Route 3 East, the police responded to Hasbrouck Heights, NJ and arrested an 18 year old male, Jacob Larkin of Hasbrouck Heights, NJ for Burglary [2C:18-2a(1)] and Theft [2C:20-3A]. Mr. Larkin was served his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 02/01/2022 at 6:56 PM, Secaucus Police responded to 101 Plaza Centre Road on a report of a verbal dispute. During the investigation, the police arrested a 32 year old female, Ashley Hoffmann of Spotswood, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Ms. Hoffmann was issued his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On 02/02/2022 at 6:29 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Ocean County Jail to take into custody a 38 year old female, Danielle Wolf of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00. Ms. Wolf was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 02/03/2022 at 6:35 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 44 year old male, Kevin Jackson of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City in the amount of $100.00 and 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. Mr. Jackson was also charged with Possession of CDS believed to be MDMA [2C:35-10A(1)], Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2], Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] for providing false information to law enforcement and Failure to turn over CDS to Law Enforcement [2C:35-10C]. Mr. Jackson was issued his complaint warrant along with 5 motor vehicle summonses and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 02/04/2022 at 1:07 AM, Secaucus Police observed a vehicle driving erratically in the area of 200 Flanagan Way. During the investigation, the police arrested a 30 year old male, Nikhil Joshi of Kearny, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Joshi was served his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional motor vehicle summons and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On 02/04/2022 at 2:53 AM, Secaucus Police observed a suspicious vehicle parked in the parking levels at 200 Millcreek Drive. During the investigation, the police arrested a 24 year old male, Erik Loja-Saquipulla of North Bergen, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Loja-Saquipulla was issued a motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional 3 motor vehicle summonses and he was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On 02/05/2022 at 1:08 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 51 year old male, Norman Bell of Jersey City, NJ for 2 outstanding warrants issued out of Weehawken, NJ in the amount of $2,040.00 along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Paterson, NJ in the amount of $850.00, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Clifton, NJ in the amount of $750.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $400.00. Mr. Bell was able to post bail for the involved warrants, was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On 02/05/2022 at 2:15 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Home Depot located at 1055 Paterson Plank Road on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 45 year old male, Isaac Avila of Moonachie, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)], Criminal Attempt to commit Theft by Deception [2C:5-1A(1)] and Possession of Certain Weapons, specifically a metal knuckle [2C:39-3E]. Mr. Avila was served his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 02/06/2022 at 9:01 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 26 year old male, Anthony Lee of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of East Orange, NJ in the amount of $500.00 with a 10% option. Mr. Lee was able to post bail for the outstanding warrant issued out of East Orange, NJ. Newark did release Mr. Lee on his own recognizance pending a future court date. Mr. Lee was issued 3 motor vehicle summonses and he was released from police custody.
