Secaucus Police Blotter 04/11/2022 - 04/17/2022

On 04/11/2022 at 6:15 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the Home Depot located at 1055 Paterson Plank Road on a report of an individual sleeping in the receiving area. During the investigation, the police arrested a 33 year old male, Marquise Johnson of Paterson, NJ for Criminal Trespass [2C:18-3A] and Theft of Mislaid Property [2C:20-6]. Mr. Johnson was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 04/11/2022 at 2:39 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Kohl’s located at 3 Millcreek Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 26 year old female, Yasmila Matos of Jersey City, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)]. Ms. Matos was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 04/12/2022 at 4:13 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 23 year old male, Ohamy Rosario-Frias of North Bergen, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Lodi, NJ in the amount of $500.00 with a 10% option. Mr. Rosario-Frias was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On 04/13/2022 at 12:00 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of 900 Castle Road on a report from On-Star of a stolen motor vehicle possibly in the area. During the investigation, the police arrested a 32 year old male, Supreme Laboo of Scotland Neck, NC for Receiving Stolen Property [2C:20-7A]. The police also arrested a 32 year old male, Willie Morgan of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $2,500.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Union, NJ in the amount of $500.00 with a 10% option. Mr. Laboo was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody. Newark did release Mr. Morgan on his own recognizance pending a future court date. Mr. Morgan was able to post bail for the outstanding warrant issued out of Union, NJ and he was released from police custody.

On 04/14/2022 at 6:00 AM, Secaucus Police responded to Hudson Regional Hospital located at 55 Meadowlands Parkway on a report of an individual who was refusing to leave after he was discharged. During the investigation, the police arrested a 35 year old male, Jamaal Gilbert of Hoboken, NJ for Defiant Trespass [2C:18-3B] and Criminal Mischief [2C:17-3A(1)]. Mr. Gilbert was also found to have 3 outstanding warrants issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $1,350.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Hoboken, NJ in the amount of $2,500.00. Mr. Gilbert was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 04/14/2022 at 8:55 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Home Depot located at 1055 Paterson Plank Road on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 23 year old male, Jose Santospena of Yonkers, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)] and Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)]. Mr. Santospena was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 04/15/2022 at 11:25 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 32 year old male, Divine Melvin of Paterson, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Haledon, NJ in the amount of $500.00. Mr. Melvin was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody.

On 04/15/2022 at 11:33 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 31 year old male, Adrian Cuebas of Bogota, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Fair Lawn, NJ in the amount of $500.00. Mr. Cuebas was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 3 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On 04/15/2022 at 8:32 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of 500 Route 3 West on a report of a motor vehicle that had struck a pole. During the investigation, the police arrested a 55 year old male, Antonio Johnson of Queens Village, NY for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Johnson was issued his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional 3 motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On 04/16/2022 at 9:00 AM, Secaucus Police responded to 120 Park Plaza Drive on a report of an individual unlawfully entering an apartment. During the investigation, the police arrested a 23 year old male, Jose Santospena of Yonkers, NY for Criminal Trespass [2C:18-3A]. Mr. Santospena was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 04/16/2022 at 1:36 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Extended Stay America located at 1 Meadowlands Parkway on a report of a possible Lewdness incident. During the investigation, the police arrested a 30 year old male, Kyle Cranford of Staten Island, NY for Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] for providing false information to law enforcement. Mr. Cranford was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 04/17/2022 at 1:46 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 25 year old male, Erick Coronel of Secaucus, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Coronel was issued his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional 4 motor vehicle summonses and he was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On 04/17/2022 at 4:33 AM, Secaucus Police observed a suspicious vehicle parked in the parking lot of the PNC Bank located at 100 Plaza Centre Road. During the investigation, the police arrested a 31 year old male, Leoncio Fermin of Newark, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50] and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, an expandable baton [2C:39-3E]. Mr. Fermin was issued his complaint summons along with his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated and an additional 2 motor vehicle summonses and he was released into the custody of a responsible adult.
