On 06/06/2022 at 2:50 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the Linden Police Department to take into custody a 27 year old female, Tanajza Palin of Secaucus, NJ after Ms. Palin was charged with Robbery [2C:15-1A(1)] following an incident at the Green Farmer’s Market located at 101 Plaza Centre Road on 06/05/2022. Ms. Palin was served her complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 06/06/2022 at 2:48 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of Roosevelt Avenue on a report of a hit and run motor vehicle crash. The motor vehicle involved in the hit and run crash was found by the police to be in the parking lot of 40 Enterprise Avenue. During the investigation, the police arrested a 36 year old male, Felix Fermin of Lodi, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Fermin was issued a motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional 5 motor vehicle summonses and he was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On 06/07/2022 at 9:40 AM, a 57 year old male, Richard Medina of Union City, NJ entered Secaucus Police Headquarters located at 1203 Paterson Plank Road for the purpose of being fingerprinted for the charges of Burglary [2C:18-2A(1)], Theft [2C:20-3A] and Possession Burglar Tools [2C:5-5A(1)] in relation to an incident that occurred at Poke Bros located at 700 Plaza Drive on 04/22/2022. Mr. Medina was also fingerprinted for the charges of Burglary [2C:18-2A(1)], Theft [2C:20-3A] and Criminal Mischief [2C:17-3A(1)] in relation to an incident that occurred at Cumin N Eat located at 700 Plaza Drive on 04/22/2022. Mr. Medina was processed for the listed charges and was released from police custody.

On 06/07/2022 at 3:45 PM, in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department Detective Division in relation to a Theft that occurred at LA Fitness located at 485 Harmon Meadow Boulevard on 06/02/2022, the Secaucus Police responded to LA Fitness and arrested a 17 year old female of Hoboken, NJ for Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card [2C:21-6H] and Criminal Attempt to commit Theft [2C:5-1A(1)]. The juvenile female was issued her juvenile complaint summons and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On 06/08/2022 at 7:41 AM, Officer’s from the Jersey City Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and transferred custody of a 39 year old female, Tiffany Malone of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00. Ms. Malone was brought to Secaucus Municipal Court where she saw the Municipal Court Judge, was sentenced and was released from police custody.

On 06/08/2022, in an ongoing effort to combat vice related crimes within the Town of Secaucus, the Secaucus Police Department Anti-Crime Unit arrested the following individuals; at 9:27 PM the police arrested a 33 year old female, Deisy Roman of Flushing, NY for Prostitution [2C:34-1B(8)] along with a 30 year old male, Juan Alvarado of the Bronx, NY for Promoting Prostitution [2C:34-1B(2)]. Both parties were served their complaint summonses and were released from police custody. At 10:15 PM, the police arrested a 32 year old female, Merlin Herrera Saldivar of New York, NY for Prostitution [2C:34-1B(8)]. Ms. Herrera Saldivar was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 06/08/2022 at 9:49 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of Born Street on a report of a suspicious male who was walking through private backyards. During the investigation, the police arrested a 37 year old male, Jason England of Brooklyn, NY for Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] for providing false information to law enforcement, Possession of CDS believed to be Methamphetamine [2C:35-10A(1)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Mr. England was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 06/09/2022 at 7:50 PM, in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department Detective Division regarding an incident of Terroristic Threats that occurred at Bob’s Discount Furniture located at 3 Mill Creek Drive on 06/08/2022, the Anti-Crime Unit responded to Jersey City, NJ and arrested a 33 year old female, Dmetriotis Vandemark of Jersey City, NJ for Terroristic Threats [2C:12-3A]. Ms. Vandemark was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 06/09/2022 at 9:08 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 39 year old male, Fernando Leyva of Union City, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ with no bail. Mr. Leyva was also charged with Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)]. Mr. Leyva was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 06/11/2022 at 8:51 AM, Secaucus Police responded to Hudson Regional Hospital located at 55 Meadowlands Parkway on a report of an individual who stated to a security officer that he needed to turn himself into the police. During the investigation, the police arrested a 35 year old male, Alberto Perez-Correa of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued by the Middlesex County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. Officer’s from the Middlesex County Sheriff’s Office responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of Mr. Perez-Correa for transport back to their authority.

On 06/12/2022 at 2:05 AM, Secaucus Police responded to 1000 Riverside Station Boulevard on a report of a fire alarm activation. During the investigation, the police arrested a 28 year old male, Malik Davis of Uniondale, NY for False Public Alarm [2C:33-3A(1)(A)]. Mr. Davis was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
