On 08/16/2022 at 1:51 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 34 year old male, Roshawn Simmons of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued by the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. Mr. Simmons was further charged with Possession of CDS believed to be Heroin [2C:35-10A(1)], Possession of CDS believed to be Ecstasy [2C:35-10A(1)], Possession of CDS believed to be Cocaine [2C:35-10A(1)], Failure to turn over CDS believed to be Heroin to Law Enforcement [2C:35-10C], Failure to turn over CDS believed to be Ecstasy to Law Enforcement [2C:35-10C], Possession with intent to Distribute CDS believed to be Ecstasy [2C:35-5B(3)] and Possession with intent to Distribute CDS believed to be Cocaine [2C:35-5B(3)]. Mr. Simmons was issued his complaint warrant along with 8 motor vehicle summonses and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 08/18/2022 at 5:03 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the parking lot at Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a verbal dispute. During the investigation, the police arrested a 31 year old male, Kenneth Gosa of Jersey City, NJ for 1 NCIC warrant issued by the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office with no bail along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ with no bail. Mr. Gosa was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses. Detectives from the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of Mr. Gosa for transport to their authority.

On 08/19/2022 at 2:16 AM, Secaucus Police observed an individual in the area of 3rd Street and Front Street who was believed to have an outstanding warrant out for her arrest. During the investigation, the police arrested a 29 year old female, Tori Beato of Secaucus, NJ for 2 outstanding warrants issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $300.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Guttenberg, NJ in the amount of $2,500.00 with a 10% option. Ms. Beato was also charged with Resisting Arrest [2C:29-2A(1)]. Ms. Beato was released on her own recognizance pending a future court date in regards to the warrants issued out of Secaucus, NJ. Ms. Beato was able to post bail for the warrant issued out of Guttenberg, NJ. Ms. Beato was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 08/19/2022 at 4:08 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 26 year old male, Luigi Lopez of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Woodbridge, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00. Mr. Lopez was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody.

On 08/19/2022 at 4:32 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Home Depot located at 1055 Paterson Plank Road on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested an 18 year old male, Jose Alvarado Oliveros of New Rochelle, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)]. Mr. Alvarado Oliveros was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 08/19/2022 at 7:25 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Home Depot located at 1055 Paterson Plank Road on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 45 year old male, Gamalier Hernandez of Hoboken, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued by the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. Mr. Hernandez was also charged with Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Mr. Hernandez was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 08/20/2022 at 7:56 PM, in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Anti-Crime Unit in regards to a robbery incident that occurred at the Red Roof Inn located at 15 Meadowlands Parkway on 08/17/22, the police responded to North Bergen, NJ and arrested a 43 year old male, Walter Garcia Ramos of North Bergen, NJ for Robbery [2C:15-1A(1)] and Aggravated Assault [2C:12-1B(1)]. Mr. Garcia Ramos was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 08/21/2022 at 6:12 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the parking lot of the Speedway Gas Station located at 400 Route 3 West on a report of suspicious individuals inside a parked motor vehicle. During the investigation, the police arrested a 37 year old male, Daniel Roth of Belleville, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Crack Cocaine [2C:35-10A(1)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Mr. Roth was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
