On 09/19/2022 at 2:46 AM, Secaucus Police observed a vehicle parked in a handicap spot with the driver appearing to be asleep in the area of 1351 Paterson Plank Road. During the investigation, the police arrested a 41 year old male, Nicholas Kaadan of Totowa, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Kaadan was issued his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional 3 motor vehicle summonses and he was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On 09/19/2022 at 9:57 AM, Officers from the NJ State Police responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters located at 1203 Paterson Plank Road to transfer custody of a 25 year old male, Karl Bastien of East Orange, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00 with a 10% option. Mr. Bastien was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Springfield, NJ in the amount of $500.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of East Orange, NJ in the amount of $500.00. Mr. Bastien was released on his own recognizance in relation to the outstanding warrants issued out of Secaucus, NJ, Springfield, NJ and East Orange, NJ pending future court dates and he was released from police custody.

On 09/21/2022 at 10:22 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the Rodeway Inn located at 155 Route 3 East on a report of a dispute in the parking lot. During the investigation, the police arrested a 26 year old female of Secaucus, NJ for Endangering the Welfare of a Child [2C:24-4A(2)]. The involved female was issued her complaint summons and she was released from police custody.

On 09/21/2022 at 4:16 PM, Secaucus Police observed a male cross the Route 3 Highway from the West bound lanes to the East bound lanes. During the investigation, the police arrested a 22 year old male, Jonnathan Cabralaponte of Jersey City, NJ for Disorderly Conduct [2C:33-2A(2)] and Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] for providing false information to the police. Mr. Cabralaponte was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Hoboken, NJ in the amount of $2,500.00 with a 10% option. Mr. Cabralaponte was able to post bail for the outstanding warrant. Mr. Cabralaponte was issued his complaint summons and he was released from police custody.

On 09/22/2022 at 2:54 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the Port Authority Police Department to take custody of a 40 year old female, Taina Otero of Ridgefield Park, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00. Mr. Otero was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 09/22/2022 at 10:34 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 30 year old male Daniel Cosme of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ with no bail. Mr. Cosme was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and was subsequently transported to the Jersey City Police Department.

On 09/21/2022 at 8:57 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the BP Gas Station located at 1320 Paterson Plank Road on a report of a male at that location who was making various threats against the Secaucus Police and its officers. On 09/22/2022 at 12:55 PM, the Secaucus Police Detective Division responded to the Paterson Police Department and took custody of the actor, a 27-year-old male, Jonathan Castillo of Secaucus, NJ for Terroristic Threats [2C:12-3B]. Mr. Castillo was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 09/23/2022 at 10:15 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 31 year old male, Said Baassou of North Bergen, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Ridgefield, NJ in the amount of $3,000.00 with a 10% option. Mr. Baassou was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On 09/23/2022 at 4:37 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Agile Urgent Care located at 20 Meadowlands Parkway on a report of a male at the location making threatening statements and refusing to leave the premises. During the investigation, the police arrested a 27 year old male, Tieshoan Ashley of Jersey City, NJ for Terroristic Threats [2C:12-3A] and Terroristic Threats [2C:12-3B]. Mr. Ashley was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $5,000.00. Mr. Ashley was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
