Secaucus Police Blotter 12/10/2018 - 12/16/2018

Last week's arrests and incidents as released by the Secaucus police.

On 12/10/2018 at 11:32 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 37 year old male, Anthony Estevez-Valerio of Paterson, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant out of Elmwood Park, NJ in the amount of $500.00 and 1 outstanding warrant out of Fairlawn, NJ in the amount of $81.00. Mr. Estevez-Valerio was able to post bail for the involved warrants and was released from custody.

On 12/10/2018 at 12:43 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Cura facility located at 595 County Ave on a report of an individual who was no longer welcomed on the premises. During the investigation, the police arrested a 38 year old male, Julio Cordero of Hillside, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant out of North Bergen, NJ with no bail, 1 outstanding warrant out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $10,000.00 and 1 outstanding warrant out of Trenton, NJ in the amount of $150.00. North Bergen Police Department did release Mr. Cordero on his own recognizance for their warrant. Mr. Cordero was unable to post bail for the remaining warrants and was subsequently transported to the Newark Police Department.

On 12/10/2018 at 3:33 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 21 year old male, Manuel Morales of Union City, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)]. Mr. Morales was also served a motor vehicle summons for Operation of a motor vehicle while in possession of CDS [39:4-49.1]. Mr. Morales was served his complaint warrant and was transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 12/10/2018 at 2:29 PM, a 34 year old male, Alton Pettigrew of Secaucus, NJ was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Bloomfield, PD in the amount of $150.00. Bloomfield Police Department did release Mr. Pettigrew on his own recognizance and Mr. Pettigrew was released from custody.

On 12/12/2018 at 5:35 PM, Secaucus Police responded to UPS on a report of a possible theft. During the investigation, the police arrested a 22 year old female, Jazmin Leger of Yonkers, NY for Producing a False Government Document, a driver’s license [2C:21-2.1C], Hindering Apprehension for Volunteering False Information [2C:29-3A(7)], Criminal Attempt of Theft [2C:5;1A(3)] and Theft of Identity [2C:21-17A(1)]. Ms. Leger was served her complaint warrant and was transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 12/13/2018 at 12:42 AM, Officer’s from the Port Authority Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and dropped off a 20 year old female, Jasmine Fuentes of Newark, NJ for an outstanding warrant out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $500.00. Ms. Fuentes was unable to post bail for the warrant and was transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 12/13/2018 at 1:38 PM, Secaucus Police observed an individual in the area of Chestnut Place in which it was believed by the police that the individual had an outstanding warrant. During the investigation, the police arrested a 32 year old male, Michael Ambrosio of Secaucus, NJ for an outstanding warrant out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $2,000.00 with a 10% option. Jersey City Police Department did release Mr. Ambrosio on his own recognizance and he was subsequently released from custody.

On 12/13/2018 at 7:26 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Bergen County Jail to take custody of a 24 year old male, Jaquir Huntington of Paterson, NJ for an outstanding warrant out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $200.00. Mr. Huntington was unable to post bail and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 12/14/2018 at 8:21 AM, Secaucus Police responded to Route 3 East on a report of a disabled motor vehicle. During the investigation, the police arrested the owner of the motor vehicle, a 41 year old female, Diatou Gueye of Fair Lawn, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant out of Fair Lawn, NJ in the amount of $500.00 and 1 outstanding warrant out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $350.00. Ms. Gueye was able to post bail for the involved warrants and was subsequently released from custody.

On 12/14/2018 at 1:31 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 43 year old male, Juan Fernandez of West New York, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)]. Mr. Fernandez was also found to have an outstanding warrant out of Weehawken, NJ in the amount of $300.00. Mr. Fernandez was served his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 12/15/2018 at 1:15 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Gucci located at 50 Hartz Way on a report of an employee theft. During the investigation, the police arrested a 40 year old male, Jerry Almazan of Jersey City, NJ for Theft [2C:20-3A] of over $50,000.00 worth of merchandise. Mr. Almazan was served his complaint summons and was released from custody.

On 12/16/2018 at 3:20 PM, Secaucus Police were investigating an improperly parked vehicle in the area of 1351 Paterson Plank Rd. The driver of the vehicle, Jamie Conroy, 40 of Secaucus was subsequently arrested for an active warrant out of Bayonne with a bail of $5,000.00 with 10% option. She posted bail and was released from custody and issued motor vehicle summonses.

On 12/16/2018 at 8:37 PM, during a motor vehicle stop on Route 3 West, Raphy Sanchez, 27 of Jersey City was arrested for an outstanding warrant from Bloomfield with a bail of $89.00. He was able to post bail and issued a motor vehicle summons and released from custody.

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
