On 03/27/2023 at 3:43 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 27-year-old male, Tahj Dorcely of Orange, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $2,000.00 with a 10% option. Newark did release Mr. Dorcely on his own recognizance pending a future court date. Mr. Dorcely was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and he was released from police custody.

On 03/28/2023 at 11:22 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 49-year-old male, Gregory Barel of Fairview, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Ridgefield Park, NJ in the amount of $750.00. Mr. Barel was also charged with Possession of Prohibited Weapons [2C:39-3E] for possessing metal knuckles and Refusal to Submit to Fingerprinting [53:1-15]. Mr. Barel was issued his complaint warrant along with 9 motor vehicle summonses and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 03/28/2023 at 2:44 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Kohl’s located at 3 Millcreek Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 34-year-old male, Jeffrey Perez of Jackson, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office with no bail along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Woodbridge, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00. Mr. Perez was also charged with Possession of Burglar Tools [2C:5-5A(2)], Tampering with Evidence [2C:28-6(1)] and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon [2C:39-5D], specifically a folding knife. The police also arrested a 33 year old female, Amada Rivera of Edison, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Cocaine [2C:35-10A(1)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2A] along with a 24 year old female, Mkenzie Reed of South Portland, ME for Possession of CDS believed to be Heroin [2C:35-10A(1)]. Ms. Rivera was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Woodbridge, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Monroe, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00 and 2 outstanding warrants issued out of Edison, NJ in the amount of $500.00. Ms. Reed was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody. Both Mr. Perez and Ms. Rivera were issued their complaint warrants and were subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 03/29/2023 at 3:49 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 27-year-old male, Diego Delacruz of Irvington, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Union, NJ in the amount of $750.00. Union did release Mr. Delacruz on his own recognizance pending a future court date. Mr. Delacruz was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and he was released from police custody.

On 03/29/2023 at 4:04 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police Anti-Crime Unit arrested a 36-year-old male, Keith Kosky of Toms River, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Cocaine [2C:35-10A(1)]. Mr. Kosky was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 03/31/2023 at 6:33 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police Anti-Crime Unit arrested a 37-year-old male, Christopher Peloso of Little Falls, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Cocaine [2C:35-10A(1)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2A]. Mr. Peloso was issued his complaint summons along with 1 motor vehicle summons and he was released from police custody.

On 04/01/2023 at 10:00 AM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 49-year-old male, Malcolm Sirmons of New York, NY for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of North Bergen, NJ in the amount of $2,000.00, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Saddle Brook, NJ in the amount of $550.00. Mr. Sirmons was also charged with Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)] and Criminal Trespass [2C:18-3B(1)]. Mr. Sirmons was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 04/02/2023 at 4:39 PM, Secaucus Police observed an individual cross the NJ Route 3 East Highway. During the investigation, the police arrested a 47 year old male, Orlando Velascoortiz of Belleville, NJ for Disorderly Conduct [2C:33-2A(2)]. Mr. Sirmons was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
